Change AI Consortium
For MDs, CEOs and CROs at independently owned Trust Companies

We help Trust Companies navigate and use AI, safely.

When your board asks about AI, the answer needs to focus on the business fit, not a technology demo. We define how AI fits your business, then implement the compliance, risk controls and value tracking that make it happen.

“…how do you implement the project for our business. It's someone who needs to understand our business, our business needs. And to me, that's 2 different mindsets, 2 different bits of experience… there's 2 roles and I don't know who has that.” Founding director, an independently owned Channel Islands trust company

He had already lost real money and time on a failed technology project, and still could not find one supplier who covers both halves of the problem: the business decision, and the delivery.

The 30-day AI Kick-Start Package

One plan, not a tool. Before: no named owner, no roadmap, vendors pitching tools instead of confidence. After: a named accountable owner, AI policies and controls, and a board-signed-off AI roadmap, in 30 days.

  1. Alignment workshop. Leadership agrees what AI is actually for, in your business, not in the abstract.
  2. Governance set-up. The AI policy and the controls that make it safe to act on, including where AI may and may not touch client data.
  3. Opportunity identification workshop. The specific, named opportunities in your business, technical and business deliverables both.
  4. AI pilotOptional — a small, real test of AI on one of the opportunities identified, so you judge it on evidence, not promise.
  5. Roadmap agreed. A board-ready document naming the owner, the plan and the first 30 days.

A spreadsheet, a policy nobody follows, or nothing at all is what most firms have today. Every named rival splits the job in two: change-management specialists with no AI-governance framework, or AI and compliance tools with no workforce-change depth. This package is built to deliver both halves together, sized for a 15 to 50-staff firm.

Why now

The JFSC published AI guidance for Jersey's financial services sector in July 2026, alongside the Institute of Directors Jersey's AI Adoption Guidelines and Digital Jersey's AI Playbook. The path for this decision is being marked out whether you act on it or not.

“There is an AI policy. I was one of the people that helped to implement it, but it's not being followed now.” Trust company governance lead, on his own firm's current AI policy

Why us

Manuel Saenz has spent nearly 30 years inside financial-services transformation, through file servers, the internet, SaaS and now AI, with the same guiding rule every time: understand the problem before you touch the technology.

We refuse to compete on technical AI delivery. That is not our entry point, and we will not out-scale the Big Four. Our edge is being more agile and more focused than either, bridging the gap between deciding what AI should do for your business and how to actually get there.

The sample roadmap

The bridge between the business decision and delivery, not a technical tool demo. A real, finished example, for an illustrative Trust Company, so you can judge the quality before you book anything.

Where does your firm stand?

Nine short questions, about two minutes, scored on the three things this package addresses: direction, governance and control, and technology readiness. This is an indication to discuss, not a formal assessment of your firm.
